Cables To Go, a manufacturer of computer cables, is founded in Dayton, Ohio by entrepreneurs - Mike Shane, Geoff Hyman, and Jeff Fourman

1988

1988

Began manufacturing of core products in Asia

1992

1992

Won major contract from Reynolds+Reynolds to provide IT materials for their automotive dealer IT deployments

1993

Acquired Lastar Datacomm Solutions to provide infrastructure installation services

1995

Signed agreements with Ingram Micro and Tech Data to expand distribution

Acquired ASP Computer Products for printer port technology and signed distribution agreement with Merisel

Opened manufacturing facility in China and sales office in Taiwan

Achieved ISO 9000 certification for China manufacturing facility

Changed corporate identity to Lastar, with Cables To Go as a business unit and acquired Pen Cabling Technologies, provider of custom cables for OEMs
