Quiktron is the division of Lastar dedicated to serving the
industrial/electrical markets. Acquired by Lastar in December of 2004 and headquartered
in Albia, Iowa, Quiktron’s focus is on the manufacturing and distribution of data
communication cabling, specifically copper, fiber, and audio/video assemblies. Like
Cables To Go, we at Quiktron differentiate ourselves from our competitors by the level
of service we provide our customers every day. When competitors say they can’t or
won’t, we say we can and we will. Our absolute commitment to service and quality has
enabled Quiktron to experience double digit growth for the past five years, and we are
driven to continue that growth trend.
Quiktron’s market focus is narrower than that of Cables To Go. While Cables To Go’s
customer base is in the tens of thousands, Quiktron’s customers number in the hundreds.
The commitment to providing an extraordinary customer experience, however, remains
unchanged. Our customers, including industry leaders such as Graybar™, Anixter™,
Accu-Tech™, and CXtec™ rely on Quiktron for knowledgeable and timely service and
innovative product solutions.

We are the experts when it comes network cabling and we have the
expertise to manufacture virtually any type of assembly required. Nearly 50% of the
products Quiktron sells are custom manufactured within days of receiving the customer’s
order.
Our facility in Albia employs 120 throughout the call center sales, production,
operations, purchasing and administrative teams. In addition, our Hickory, NC site
serves as a second production facility and has the necessary equipment to manufacture
highly specialized fiber assemblies that call for exacting tolerances. The Salt Lake
City, UT facility, which is ISO 9001:2000 certified, is a shared resource between
Quiktron and Cables To Go. The facility largely produces custom interconnects for a
broad array of applications, including fiber optics, and also serves as a warehouse
for western U.S. customers. Each facility possesses dedicated people and specialized
functions to ensure that all of Quiktron’s customers receive the precise product
solution when and where they need it. As our “Connections of Quality” tagline
